RESTART snc, that works in the
automation field for many years, has put all its resources and energy to develop a project, which has always been the main aim of the
two founder members: to design and build “the robot” with very high
performances. We reached gradually this conviction because we believed in the robotics
sector, that we considered in constant increase (data results confirmed our expectations), and in a market with continuous research of extremely fast
products and with low costs. So RESTART snc has created SCARABEO C430, the robot scara
type with extremely innovative technological characteristics. Our Engineering Dept. takes care exclusively of the electric and
mechanical design, installation and post-selling are followed by our qualified staff. The robot has been created to palletize products of big volume, is fit
particularly for extremely fast handlings, thanks to the used technologies. It
can control 4 interpolated axis: Axis Z (vertical) Axis X (shoulder),
Axis Y (elbow), Axis W (wrist). Axis Z is moved through a LINEAR ENGINE (Danaher Motion) with pneumatic balancing
that permit to reach up to 2g acceleration (19,6 m/s) and maximum speedy of
120m/min! The brushless technology is applied for the check of the other axis
(engines and drive Danaher Motion) which allow a fluid and fast handling of the
arms, entirely made of CARBON FIBRE! The mechanical characteristics of the carbon give a very big robustness
and fluidity of the movements to the robot. Furthermore, thanks to its mechanical and electronic characteristics,
SCARABEO C430, even if it’s basically a palletizator, is in no way
inferior to the smallest positioner Pick-Place: in fact, using reducers of high
precision (alpha reducers), it can obtain extremely precise positioning (see
for reference the technical characteristics here below mentioned). Well then! Thanks to the optimization in design and construction, RESTART
snc has reached a extremely competitive relation quality/price. The control is completely committed to a CNC system (Tex Computer), with
a graphic interface which considerably makes easy the operator for the points
planning and for the handling in JOG, through the programming terminal
touch-pendant with colour monitor touch-screen. The points programming is
besides simplified by system of self-learning of the data which can be
expressed with Cartesian axis (coordinates X and Y) or with polar axis
(coordinates of single axis X – Y – W), according to the specifications
required by the Customer.
The system has an integrated PLC with input and output standard inboard
and expandable, in case of necessity, for the correct management of a possible
complementary automation (roller, bands etc…). Furthermore, a suitable software has been developed in collaboration with
Engineering Dept. Tex Computer, in order to permit the movement of the pliers
on the horizontal flat, maintaining its flatness with the vertical level. This
functionality assures the possibility to insert an object into a jig: for
example to position a box between two boxes, to insert it not from the top but
from the side.
SCARABEO C430 can be paired with a pallet band (SIAT) with
rotating board, that permits to palletize products of irregular shape, binding
during the stacking. Thanks to its particularly limited dimensions SCARABEO C430 can easily
work in very small places and reaches very high heights of palletization.
